Be Baby

Red Hot Chili Pepper

He bounces so much inside i feel this baby is spicing things up already. One can actually buy this outfit. A great alternative to the blue, vanilla and white colour baby clothing choices!

He can hear you now
From the books:
The Baby is getting bigger and continuing to practice for life outside the uterus. This week (22) he has fully developed eyelashes and eyebrows and the hair on his head is continuing to grow as his brain begins a rapid growth process. The fetus has fully formed fingerprints and loud noise can “wake him up”. He kicks and turns around, too.

From the mum:
Liam is trying to become a professional football player inside my womb. I wonder if i should rent 'Bend it like Beckham'. He spins to music, too, so i'm playing little bits and pieces every day. My mum suggested Mozart but all i have was 'The Marriage of Figaro' and i figure that's a bit too much for him. So i play Christmas carrols (i.e., 'Santa Baby'), mixed Beatles CDs and some soft flamenco.

In general, he's pretty busy in there. I wonder if it's all pure expectation from the Santa hassle he hears around him. Happy Christmas.

5 months

Here is Liam, kicking and swimming and dancing and basically growing inside his mum's five month pregnant belly.

He
Baby is a Boy. We were told this morning. Almost a 100% certain. Well, Pablo is sure because he got to watch the screen for a longer time. And he saw it.

Baby was sound asleep all along and, no matter how much the nurse tossed my tummy, he insisted on sticking to his 10 am wake up call. I was sent to the coffee machine and was told to drink hot chocolate to see if we could get some sugar to spice him up. Doctor's sweet orders. It worked. Crazy little babe.

Our Baby Boy Liam is on his way to his first spring. I can't stop smiling. I feel like singing Springsteen's Pony Boy. I'm actually humming it to him as i type. Crazy mum.

Custard apple? Seriously?
Ladies and gentleman, please allow me to proudly introduce my very first true craving! A custard apple! And i get this urge exactly five minutes after the stores close... Can cravings wait a whole night?

Designer dreams
We saw this cot in the window of a store in Santander a few weeks back and it was love at first sight.

This cot 'grows' with Baby until she/he becomes a Toddler and then a Child. You can divide it into two chairs, or turn it into a bigger bed. I like the lines. I love the simplicity. I hate the price.

Pablo thinks he can build it. I wonder if it's worth the work and the hassle. Or should we just leave it in the (also nordic) hands of Ikea?
